Meet the highest valued players in League Two, according to transfermarkt. Salford City’s Luke Bolton is the top-ranked player in the fourth tier at £1.8m and is one of only three players rated at seven figures by the website. Colchester United’s Matty Longstaff, who is on loan at the club from Premier League side Newcastle United, comes second in the rankings at £1.62m. Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, on loan from Arsenal, comes third at £1.35m.

The most valuable player from Yorkshire is Doncaster Rovers’ forward Reo Griffiths, who is valued at £810,000. After 10 games, the League Two table is beginning to take shape with Doncaster and Bradford City both in play-off contention. A late equaliser in their 2-2 draw with Wimbledon kept the Bantams in the top seven while a much-needed win for Rovers over Crawley Town moved them up the table.
