CARDIFF CITY SIGN RYAN WINTLE

Welsh football giants Cardiff City have completed the signing of midfielder Ryan Wintlefrom Crewe Alexandra in the English League One. The 24-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Bluebirds after turning down a new contract offer from Crewe Alexandra.

Wintle was offered a new deal to stay at Crewe Alexandra beyond the end of his dealthis summer but the player opted to leave the club as a free agent to join Cardiff City in the push for Premier League football ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

In his first interview with Cardiff City, Wintleexpressed his delight at signing for the Bluebirds as he said that he’s happy to be at the club. The midfielder went on to say that his target isto be a fans’ favourite at his new team. According to Wintle, he’s an all-action midfielder that gives everything on the pitch before adding thathe would try to do what the Cardiff City fans tell him.

Wintlehas made a big decision to end his six-year stay at Crewe Alexandra this summer. He joined the club from Alsager Town in 2015 before making his professional debut as a teenager. His first game as a professional footballer was at the age of 18. Wintle played 186 matches for Crewe Alexandra over the course of the six seasons he spent at Gresty Road.

Wintle asked about Cardiff City from former Crewe Alexandra teammate Perry Ng before he decided to sign for the Championship team. The midfielder said that he spoke to Perry immediately he found out about the Cardiff City interest in him. Perry Ng was the Crewe Alexandra skipper before he left the club to join Welsh club Cardiff City. Perry had good things to say about the Welsh club and Wintle had no doubts about signing for the Championship outfit.
